New LinkedIn Advertising Account Spending Limit

Earlier this week I was working with a new client who had started their business account about two weeks previous. We were seeing great success and had given our campaigns a lot of room on the daily budgets.

I checked in on the account about 10 am and we were already almost to the spend of the previous day. Good news. However, when I checked in a couple hours later we had basically stopped at the same level as the day before. It’s like we’d hit a ceiling.


A quick email to a LinkedIn rep confirmed that new accounts DO have a daily spending limit, which was promptly raised so we could get more traffic. So if your account is pretty new and you are looking to do some volume, reach out sooner rather than later.
